GP Referral Information

Sexual Trauma Counselling Perth accepts referrals from GPs and Psychiatrists for Medicare and privately funded psychological counselling.

GP's are to complete and lodge a GP Mental Health Treatment Plan (Medicare Benefits Scheme Item No. 2701). The GPMHTP must be lodged with Medicare prior to the patient attending the first counselling appointment.

As required by Medicare legislation, Danni Murfett requires a written referral letter and a copy of the GPMHTP in order to process the Medicare rebate.
